What Do You Use To Clean Kitchen Cabinets?
I need to clean my kitchen cabinets and I’m not sure how to get the grease build up off of them. In the past I’ve use furniture polish to help spruse them up, and just regular cleaners like soap and water, but it doesn’t do the job. When I clean, I like to do a thorough job, and my kitchen cabinets have always been lacking that because of me not being able to find the right cleaner to cut through the grime and grease.
What should I use? My kitchen cabinets are the generic wood kind…I think maple. Not too sure. This house was built back in 92 and it has the original cabinets. When we bought the house in 2003, the previous owner did not clean them very well, and ever since, I’ve had a hard time keeping them clean and cleaning them thoroughly.
Any tips, advice will be much appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

Murphy’s Oil works great. Hot water mixed with just a little and sponge them. I use it on my cabinets, floors and any wood surfaces. It will clean, shine, and bring a fresh smell to the room.
Awesome (found in Dollar Tree)
or
Dawn Dish soap and hot water
or
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
those are the few I can think of to use.
Murphy’s oil soap may work…I just don’t like the smell.
1 cop ammonia, 1/2 cup vinegar, 1/4 cup baking soda with 1 gallon hot water. give it a try.
Lestoil – You can get it at Ace Hardware. It’s good for soap scum and laundry stains as well.
