How do I get the sticky residue from cleaning products off vinyl floors?

It seems like what ever I use, I’m always left with a clean but sticky residue on my kitchen floors. Any tips on what to use to keep that ’sticky-ness’ from happening?

You have to use a straight cleaner, in hot water like an ammonia cleaner. You must have been using a clean and shine product and those will build up and leave your floor a bit sticky.
I put in the name of another cleaner call Spi_ and Span but they edited it thinking I was making a derogatory statement. I was not, it was the name of a cleaner we used way back when I was a child and it worked great.
was your floors with that cleaning stuff. then mop it with only water. or buy new cleaning stuff.
You are leaving a build up of cleaners on the floor. Go back over the floor again with a wet mop only, use only clean hot water.
Try an original Mr Clean Magic Eraser, without squeezing the all of the water out. I do that on my floors weekly, and you would be amazed at what it pulls out of the pores of the vinyl, even though I use a steam mop.
Go to your local hardware or paint store and buy a box of TSP.(tri-sodium phosphate). Mix a gallon of the solution per label instructions. Wear rubber gloves because TSP will dry-out the oil in you hands. Apply the solution with a sponge and let it sit for about 20 minutes. Rinse the floor with plain hot water. The TSP will remove any residue.
