Did you know that the suns energy is the most abundant form of energy on earth? The sun is capable of giving us more than heat and light. The sun is practically our life’s resource as without it the earth wouldn’t be habitable. If we can all contribute to helping the planet by using solar energy (power generated from the sun) we can be sure to keep our earth as healthy as possible and to use the energy the sun has provided.

Here are the advantages of using solar energy.

The solar energy solution is gaining popularity amongst the alternate energy solutions.

Join the Green Movement:

Solar energy is an all natural energy source that doesn’t involve any harmful pollutants to the earth. In conjunction, there is nothing that is released into the atmosphere that can be considered harmful or pollutant.

The convenience of storage:

You cannot store conventional power but you can store solar power for future use. Storing it also ensures a 24×7 supply of power, thus saving you from any power outage.

Easy to maintain:

Solar energy systems dont need much attention and are easy to maintain.

So, how can solar energy be used?

Solar power can be used to power many specific things. Even if we were to add solar power to these needs, well be doing our part on being Green for our planet.

When people think about cooking, they usually think of fire or some sort of electric grill. However, you should know that you can use solar power as a cooking system. Solar cooking doesn’t equate to bland food. With solar cooking you can cook in many ways such as boiling, roasting, and baking. The only set back, if you call it that, is that your food is going to take just a few more minutes to finish cooking. However, it is not asking for too much given that you will get tasteful and healthy food without worrying about paying your gas or electricity bill.

You can now light up the entire house, use every electrical appliance without thinking about cutting down bills. Solar energy is allowed to light up your house at night due to its power storage feature. Store the solar power made in the day in batteries to be used at night. Many people have used how to create solar power guides to help create solar lighting systems for their personal uses.

Another way to use solar energy is to use it to stay warm during those cold nights in your household. Solar heating is a great alternative to using a heater as you can save money and not use any foreign gasses or oil.

First, the energy comes free. Then, the installation cost is a one-time cost, the investment is recovered within a few years of installation, making the power generated by solar energy absolutely free.

You can even reduce the costs of installation by learning how to create solar energy. Deciding to build your own solar energy system would make it cheaper to have solar energy in your household.

Want your energy saving guide? Check out our Earth4Energy review guide at Go-SolarEnergy.com. You’ll learn ways on how to build your own solar panel.

The use of solar panels has numerous positives. Panels have become the new, revolutionary technology that is sure to inspire people to think differently about how they use energy. Through this new knowledge, we should all be able to help our planet and converse previous resources. Read on to learn more through a detailed explanation of solar panel benefits.

To those people who have already invested in solar technology, you should very well understand the numerous benefits of the power. You should see a change in the amount of energy you consume and the significant amount of money saved. While panels can consume a lot of space, they can be easily installed on the roof to be out of the way. Roofs are often preferred because the panels can received full sun without obstructions from trees. However, solar panels can also be fixed to the ground.

If you find that you were not able to get a good amount of energy from the sun one day, you do not have to worry. Even though you will be partially using energy from the coal plant, you can also feel happy at not consuming so much of that energy as you would have without the panels. Sunlight, unlike coal, is a renewable resource and can always be harvested the very next day. If you get enough energy another day, you can also use the power during night time, when the sun is not around. However, please unplug electronics that are not being used at night.

Compared to oil and similar resources, solar panels have not been known to pollute the planet. Solar technology does not produce greenhouse gasses and there is no chance of the panels somehow leaking into the ocean and destroying precious ecosystems. Sunlight is free to use, too. When you have paid for the solar technology to be installed, you will not have to worry about paying a monthly electric energy bill anymore.

The versatility of solar power is amazing. Energy collected from the sun can be transferred to buildings, water fountains, satellites, heaters, vehicles and other electronic devices. Electronics that are not made to be use by solar energy can still use the power from the panels through the use of a special converter system.

People who live all over the world can access and harness the power of the sun. Whether you live in a highly populated area or not, you can have panels installed and easily access their power. Power lines as well as other equipment can also be greatly reduced because solar panels are normally connected right to the home of the property.

The overall system of solar panels is built to last through many, many years. They can even outlast a human life. Solar equipment is able to withstand intense weather conditions and has been documented to work very efficiently when it is cold but sunny. The technology works very well through hot summer days, too.

No matter which way you look at it, solar panels have become a wonderful environmental and economical solution for our world today. The power can be used by anyone and we will not have to worry about running out of sunlight. Be sure to look into local tax incentives about getting solar panels.

The energy of the future is solar panels! Reduce your carbon footprint now! Solar panel installation is key to repairing our damaged O-Zone layer.

What are the uses of solar power? Solar power is a huge energy source than can provide us with free and endless energy of all types. But it is mainly used in producing electric energy with the help of solar panels.

What can solar power be used for? Solar power is currently captured and used in various fields, starting with the modern farmer and ending with the most sophisticated communications’ systems. But it is mainly used in producing electric energy with the help of solar panels.

What are solar power costs? Solar power is free. But the systems that capture it do cost. Finding money for solar power is not always easy, but some are creating and turn into real home money makers with things like profit from domain materials.

How much do solar systems last ? The first type of solar panels, the ones that produce heating energy, can be used without any problems for more than 20 years. Solar panels that transform sun rays into electricity can be used for more than a quarter of a century.

Will the investment pay off? It’s hard to tell an exact timeframe in this case, because it depends on individual factors. For people that live in the most favorable environments, the investment costs can be recovered in as less as 3 years. What happens if the sky isn’t clear or during the winter? The new technology solar panels can capture radiation that are not visible to human eye. Even if the skies are clear or when it’s night outside, it doesn’t mean that the sun does not emit any radiations just because we don’t see it’s rays. As expected, solar panels are influenced by all these exterior factor, but they function regardless of them. So, if you want this type of system to be financially logical, the house where it’s installed must be located in a favorable area where solar radiation is strong, the medium yearly temperature is high and the number or sunny days is clearly bigger than the number of cloudy days.

If I install a solar system, can I unsubscribe from my electricity company? This would be possible only under the ideal conditions described above. You can keep the electric supply, and it will get used when needed, at times in which the solar panels can not cover the necessary electricity for your home. You need this because the correct function of a solar or hybrid system depends on so many external factors, and installing one that can satisfy under any circumstances the necessities of a home would be far too expensive.

Lighting is the one, single most important means of altering the atmosphere of any room. Therefore, it stands to reason that if you improve the lighting and appearance of your house, its value will also rise. Lighting improves any decor. However, you do not have to use expensive lighting, budget or discount light is just as good in many cases.

There are thousands of types of lighting, at least one of which will go well with the sort of decor that you have. Lighting is best kept understated. Up lighting, down lighting and back lighting are tremendous ways of lighting up objects in a room. The days of a single pendant lamp hanging from a rose in the centre of the ceiling are long gone so if you do have to have one, at least put a dimmer on it.

Using many lights in place of one powerful light does not have to be more expensive. Typically, the one powerful light was a 100 watt bulb, so you could have four 20 watt wall lights and still save 20% on electricity. Or you could use one 40 watt bulb in a standard floor lamp or table lamp for reading or working and save 60% on your lighting bill.

Apart from the savings, a wrought iron floor or table lamp is far more beautiful that a hanging light. How about candelabra? You could make use of candelabra to startling effect, whether you use candles in them or small light bulbs.

Candles have made a big return too. Many people use candles for subsidiary or even back-up lighting and candelabra are one of the hottest latest trends. Interior designers are buying them up antique shops and painting them bright colours. You can see them in the photos of the houses of many celebrities. A lot of people use candelabra in conjunction with aromatherapy too.

Another facet of lighting is security. A well-lit house is less likely to be burgled than a dark house. Outside lighting can also play a major role in security measures. External lighting that is controlled by movement or heating sensors to switch them on are the best means of discouraging burglars.

External lighting is the best deterrent, but it can also be beautiful. Back or up lighting on a water fall, a pond or a beautiful arrangement of plants or bushes is amazing in the dark. Spotlights have a role to play in lighting up garden plants as well.

If you want to give your fish free, organic meat to eat, put a floodlight or even an ultraviolet light at the pond side. If you switch it on for a few hours after dusk, hundreds of flies, moths and mosquitoes will be drawn to it and fall into the water, where your fish will be waiting for them.

You can have a lot of fun with lighting and the possibilities are infinite. Both indoor and outdoor lighting can increase the beauty of your home and garden, but they also have functional uses: they enable you to see what you are doing and what other people are doing, which is why they are a good deterrent. Good lighting also makes anyone living alone feel more secure.

Owen Jones, the author of this piece writes on several topics, but is at present involved with researching wrought iron floor lamps.

As we all know with the evolution of supply and our increased focus on environmental issues heating costs continue to rise each year. Natural disasters seem to occur more often and other world events inflate the price of home heating expenses, for electric, gas and oil. However all is not doom and gloom as there are steps you can take to reduce your bills and save money for something else or simply to prepare for the next higher energy costs for your home . </ P> Think about the tips below and see what you can do to reduce your bills by saving energy in your home. </ P>

Insulate Windows. Go home and check if your windows. Make sure they are closed. A good test is to do a smoke test. Turn off all fans and stand near a window and produce little smoke may be a game, taking care not to burn yourself or anything! If there is a minute of air leakage from inside the house outside the smoke moves in the direction toward the window. The kits can be purchased at hardware stores or DIY stores for insulation. </ P> Buy a ceiling fan. Because hot air rises, you want that hot air down low by buying a ceiling fan. switches are reversible for most all models and can be used in summer time too. The cost of the ceiling fan and its usage costs are quickly given way to save money. </ P> close doors. If a part is not used, then shut the door and leave it off. This is really useful if you do not have room for a while. Rooms that are used from time to time will the door fanned and cold air escapes into other rooms. Of course, this will make your furnace work harder and drive up your heating costs. </ P> Close curtains and blinds Mini. If on a winter day is sunny or even if there is minimal sunlight, be sure to open during the day, but close them as soon as it starts to go dark. The heat from the sun to help heat the house and closing the curtains, you can keep imprisoned for the night. Re-open when the sun rises the next morning. </ P> Gates

weatherproof and seal windows. Projects are not required around the doors if they were stripped weather. Look around the bottom of doors, and the air is continuous weatherproof it. Check windows too because wear and age of windows can let in cold air too. Caulk and seal windows and if the inside of the joint is damaged, replace the type seal properly. </ P>

Realign doors. Doors like Windows can over time begin to sag from their original position adjusted. Before winter settles really go around and see how your door is closed. adjust for a snug fit. </ P> Replace the air filter. You can eliminate unnecessary high cost bills by conserving energy by simply changing a clogged air filter. Not only because of clogging your system to run slowly, but the danger is that it can get into the engine and cause a fire, or just burn the engine itself. </ P> Wind

House Close. In autumn and winter shut the vents allow air circulation during the summer. In winter, the goal is to keep the cold air at all. Cold air seeping under the floor in the house and drove up heating costs. </ P> Check the insulation of the roof

High. If it has been several years since the last sample of the insulation in your attic then go up and look around. Insulation should have enough air pockets to trap cold air and replace the interior of the house. Old rotten insulation is usually brittle and flat. Replace with new insulation and you will see proof of your energy saving in heating costs. </ P> By implementing some of these tips, you will see start seeing results. It is all the more you can do too. Go online and read other ways to save energy. Discuss with your local energy provider to see if there are tips for your area to help reduce your bills and reduce costs for everyone. Ultimately you will not regret that you’ve used the tips! </ P>

Have you ever wanted to have green energy at home to save money, but couldn't afford it? Perhaps you are in that situation now?

Have you ever wanted to have green energy at home to save money, but couldn’t afford it? Perhaps you are in that situation now?

If so, you are not alone. There are millions of Americans out there right now who want Solar, Wind Power, or other forms of renewable energy but just do not have the money for the up front out of pocket expense that comes with traditional solar company installations.

There is a ton of information online about how to do these things yourself, but what if you have questions? Are you going to wait for the unresponsive site owner that sold you the e-book to respond? Not likely to happen!

So what should a Green Energy Social Network provide its users? Here is a small list:

1.) Provide Quick Access to other users- this is fairly simple, but how easy is it to access other users on TreeHugger.com? It isn’t very easy at all….

2.) Provide GOOD Information that can save your users lots of money every year- again, this seems basic but most “green social networks” only give idiotic political opinions or the greenest vacation hot spots.

3.) Allow Users simple ways to get together so they can help each other with their questions or projects!

That’s all there is! Of course, couple that with a fancy site and some great living info and you are all set! I get disgusted with these “green social networks” that act as if they are some great gift to the world, when the people who run and write for those networks are the very one’s destroying our society. Seriously, are bamboo floors or “sustainable furniture” going to put any money back in your pocket? Not at all.

There is a solution to this issue. There is a social network, a Green Energy Social Network called GreenFuelSpot.com. They specialize in DIY Alternative Energy, all the way from DIY wind turbines to Hydrogen fuel cells and HHO.

This social network does not destroy society’s fabric, but instead embraces job creation, and embraces reducing dependence on foreign oil by making fuel at home. At GreenFuelSpot.com, you can learn all of these things, and then get help with any issues that may arise, all for free!

GreenFuelSpot.com is a Green Social Network that focuses on D.I.Y. GreenEnergy to help save people just like you cash.

At the time the world gradually coming into the energy crisis, it is important that we shrink the utilization of non-renewable sources of energy such as fossil fuels. Energy solutions that keep on production energy without exhausting the natural resources refer to renewable or alternative energy solutions. Three categories fall into the group of renewable energy solutions: energy from the sun, hydro power, and wind energy generation.

Because the solar energy is limitless and free, use it. You may utilize sun power options at home. Using sun power for home will reduce your electrical power bills and save the environment. Depending on your set up, you will apply solar power for cooking, heating and AC systems, lighting, and devices.

The solar power systems include many advantages apart from being cost-effective and environment-friendly. Investing in solar energy for your home makes a lot of sense. You receive a return on investment really soon and the systems become free to use. Bear in mind that cooking using sun power is considered incredibly healthy. Families all over the world are using solar power for their households as an alternative free power solution. Not to mention the tax benefits many states have nowadays from applying this method of free energy.

People have been using windmills since prior to the birth of Christ. The oldest kind of renewable energy is wind power. Initially, windmills were used for towing boats and pumping water although over time, they started generating electrical power. Some of the first wind mills were also used to turn grain into flour.

Windmills and wind generators have been always in demand. Once used in your own home, wind energy will help cut down the use of standard energy. Since wind energy is a great supply of renewable power, it will go a long way promising a bright future for next many years.

Another amazing resource of renewable energy is hydro or water power. One can transfer the hydro energy into electrical energy to run vehicles and a variety of electrical appliances. Usually, the hydro energy is created on industrial bases. About 90 percent of all electrical power produced by renewable energy sources is created by water power.

Thousands of people world wide are creating their own alternative energy. Reduce your electrical energy bill and save the environment, check out the link at the bottom.

When it comes to converting your home into a solar home, there are several alternatives, because not all homes have the same problems, the same requirements or the same potential sustainable power sources. Therefore, if you are going to try a total conversion or even get off the grid completely, you will either need to do some do research or call in an expert to make a survey for you.

If you call in an expert, try to get an independent one, so that you can work out the costs of satisfying your energy requirements yourself. You will have to pay for such a survey, naturally, but you could carry out a report yourself with a bit of work on your part. In order to create a solar home, you may find the rest of this piece interesting.

There are fundamentally two kinds of solar design: passive and active solar energy. Passive solar energy can be used to provide heating, cooling and natural light for your home. Active solar energy is used for powering home appliances, tools and lighting. It is the perfect blend of these two types of solar energy that you will attempt to accomplish, if you are trying to convert your home into a solar home.

You can make use of passive solar energy methods in many ways, although they are more easily built in during the actual construction phase of a new home. The largest area of glass should face south or be within 30 degrees of due south. This will catch the maximum amount of heat. This heat can then be distributed around the house by stone floors and stone walls.

The central heating ducting and furnace fan can be utilized to assist, if need be. If the house becomes too hot in the summer, awnings or even solar panels could be dropped down in order to put the windows in shadow. When thinking of passive solar energy, you should endeavor to think of ways of providing warmth and coolness without using electricity. For example, a skylight at the top of the stairs will permit the warmest air in the house to escape, since hot air rises. This will result in cooler air to be sucked into the house at lower levels.

The other feature of a solar house is the generation of electricity by the deployment of solar panels grouped into solar arrays. Solar panels make use of photovoltaic cells to convert light into energy. This energy can then be used to power ordinary electrical appliances of all kinds or some or all of it can be stored in batteries for later use. Conversion from AC (alternating current) to DC (direct current) and back again, if necessary, is a simple matter.

Solar energy can also be used to heat water for the pool or for the home. The most usual type of system uses pipes filled with a type of anti-freeze to collect the sun’s heat and pass it on to tanks of water by means of a heat exchanger.

A solar home uses energy efficiency to reduce the need for heating, cooling and electricity. The use of higher grade insulation, more energy efficient windows, kitchen appliances and lighting than those used in traditional homes, will save you a lot of money and energy. As you can see, some of these changes, especially the passive ones are structural, so hard to apply in many homes, but there is always something you can do to cut your energy bills and slowly convert your home into a solar home.

Owen Jones, the writer of this piece, writes on many subjects, but is currently involved with a favourite subject – alternative power sources.

Effective production of power and energy with the environmental safety and maintenance in mind is done by alternative energy solutions of the present times. People have been stressing their desire of using fossil fuels for energy production purposes and this has been proved fatal by scientists and researchers. They cause irreversible damage to the environment and the fossil fuels of the earth are the non reusable energy resources. Eventual overuse of the same will result in depletion of the stocks and finally the entire stock of fuels will disappear. Hence, in order to save irreplaceable energy resources, we need to use alternative energy solutions.

Large number of alternative energy solutions has been identified by the scientists and researchers of the world and they have been trying to improve the quality and methods of production of energy from them for so long. Some of solutions which have been put into practice are as follows;

Wind power solutions have the capacity to use the power of the winds and help drive small turbines or windmills that in turn generate electricity through specially designed converters. The generators are nothing but rotating fans in large sizes that are rotated by the wind, thereby generating kinetic energy into electricity. Farms have been setup in various parts of the world to harvest wind power and they have been proved successful in many places. Even the idea of floating wind power farms is being tested in the middle of the oceans and if it succeeds, then the power generation industries will see a huge revolutionary change.

Biomass or Bio-gas is the fuel obtained from plants and organic matter available in the earth and they are produced by first transforming them into briquettes and then by burning them to a specific form in a specialized boiler. They produce heat and generate methane when treated with an anaerobic environment of bacterial decomposition. The heat is then used to run turbines and generators which produce electricity and the natural gas or the methane gas produced can be used as a cooking fuel. Biomass, which is the resultant quantity of the process, will function as a cleaner.

Solar Energy. Solar energy uses the sun to produce electricity. Solar panels gather sunlight efficiently and then use it to heat up water which can be utilized to generate energy. The electricity generated by solar energy can be stored in batteries as backup for night and cloudy days. Solar energy and wind power can be combined together to provide an unbroken supply of electricity.
